Sean Penn EL CHAPO n TRUMP

US Military Plane leaves New York

for Washington DC with Donald Trump on board.
THIS Is IRONIC !! Don't you Think ???

El Chapo arrives in New York as Donald Trump leaves for Washington  ...

El Chapo arrives to a Downtown New York Jail

NEW YORK — Infamous Mexican drug kingpin Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman, who twice escaped from maximum-security prisons in his country, was extradited at the request of the United States to face drug trafficking and other charges and arrived in New York late Thursday.
A plane carrying Guzman landed at a suburban airport, where a caravan of SUVs waited to take him away. Guzman, the convicted leader of the Sinaloa drug cartel, one of the world's largest drug trafficking organizations, was expected to spend the night in a New York jail before his first appearance in a federal courthouse in Brooklyn on Friday, officials said.
Mexico's Department of Foreign Relations announced Guzman was handed over to U.S. authorities for transportation to the U.S. earlier Thursday, the last full day of Democratic President Barack Obama's administration and a day before Republican Donald Trump's scheduled inauguration.
Guzman was taken into custody by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration in Ciudad Juarez, a border town across from El Paso, Texas.
Guzman, who's in his late 50s, first escaped from prison in 2001 and then spent more than a decade on the run before he was recaptured, only to escape again in 2015 via a mile-long tunnel dug to the shower in his cell.
The 2015 escape was highly embarrassing for the government of Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto, and Mexican officials were seen as eager to hand the headache off to the United States afterward. A court denied Guzman's appeal and found his extradition was constitutional , the Mexican Department of Foreign Relations said.
In Mexico, Deputy Attorney General Alberto Elias Beltran told reporters late Thursday that Guzman still faces formal charges in 10 other cases.
"When he completes his sentence in ... the United States, he will return to Mexico to continue" the prosecutions, he said.
Guzman's lawyers had fought extradition since his 2016 recapture and said Thursday the Mexican government sent him to the United States to distract the public from nationwide protests over gasoline prices.
"It was illegal. They didn't even notify us," lawyer Andres Granados said. "They handled it politically to obscure the situation of the gas price hike. It's totally political."
Besides New York, Guzman faces charges in five other U.S. jurisdictions, including San Diego, Chicago and Miami. He could face the possibility of life in a U.S. prison if convicted.
An indictment in New York accuses him of running a massive drug operation that employed thousands of people, laundered billions of dollars in profits back to Mexico and used hit men to carry out murders, kidnappings and acts of torture.
After his recent escape, he became something of a folk legend for a segment of Mexico's population for his defiance of authorities. He was immortalized in songs known as narco-corridos, ballads about the drug trade and drug bosses.
It was while on the lam the second time, in fall 2015, that he held a secret meeting with actors Sean Penn and Kate del Castillo. The encounter was the subject of a lengthy article Penn published in Rolling Stone last January, right after Mexican marines re-arrested Guzman in the western state of Sinaloa.
In the interview, Guzman was unapologetic about his criminal activities, saying he had turned to drug trafficking at age 15 simply to survive.
"The only way to have money to buy food, to survive, is to grow poppy, marijuana, and at that age, I began to grow it, to cultivate it and to sell it. That is what I can tell you," he was quoted as saying in Penn's article.
The decision by Mexico to extradite one of its most prized prisoners to the U.S. comes as Trump has taken a tough stand on illegal immigration from that country, vowing to build a border wall and make Mexico pay for it. Mexican officials have repeatedly said they will not pay for a wall.
Derek Maltz, who headed the DEA's Special Operations Division until his retirement in mid-2014, said the timing of Guzman's extradition less than 24 hours ahead of Trump's inauguration could be seen as a show of good faith by Mexico.

Donald Trump and Melania's first dance at the inaugural ball is expected to be to Frank Sinatra's 'My Way'.

Trump plans to take the floor as president at the Liberty Ball just as Nashville-based jazz singer Erin Boehme delivers the opening song, 'Mack the Knife'.
Boehme and two other unidentified artists will then perform 'My Way', according to the Washington Examiner.

'My Way' was written by Paul Anka who was asked to perform it during the inauguration celebrations but says he can't due to a scheduling conflict. The song was made popular by Sinatra in 1969.

OBAMA BIDEN Bromance Continues

Screen Shot 2017-01-12 at 6.42.30 PM.png

President Barrack Obama give Vice President Joe Biden The MEDAL of FREEDOM

The WHITE HOUSE, Washington DC, January 12th, 2017

President Barack Obama had a surprise up his sleeve Thursday at a tribute to the vice president, awarding Joe Biden the Presidential Medal of Freedom with distinction.

Biden will be the third vice president to be awarded a Medal of Freedom.

Just eight days from their last day in office, Obama ran through Biden’s legacy almost in its entirety, including the vice president’s work as a young Delaware senator, as an advocate for women’s safety, and in his two terms in executive office, calling him a “lion of American history.”

“Behind the scenes, Joe’s honest and candid counsel has made me a better president and commander in chief. From the Situation Room to our weekly lunches to our huddles when everyone has left the room, he has been unafraid to give it to me straight,” Obama said.

For the past eight years, the close-knit relationship between Obama and Biden has become easy fodder for meme creators and internet dwellers alike, a phenomenon the two of them have come to recognize. The tribute “gives the internet one last chance to talk about our bromance,” Obama joked.

A teary-eyed and surprised Biden accepted the send-off by thanking the president for his support throughout the past two terms in office. He also thanked his family, noting the many trials — including the car accident that killed his first wife and first daughter, and, more recently, the death of his son Beau Biden to cancer — they have overcome together.

This is the second time Obama has honored Biden this week; he also thanked the VP in his farewell speech on Tuesday.

“To Joe Biden, the scrappy kid from Scranton who became Delaware’s favorite son: You were the first choice I made as a nominee, and the best,” Obama said in Chicago. “Not just because you have been a great vice president, but because in the bargain, I gained a brother.”

No Fucking Americano Coffee

A BEAUTIFUL

CLASSIC CUP of JOE

An AMERICAN COFFEE

"DON'T GIVE ME NO FRIGGIN AMERICANO"

When It COMES To AMERICAN COFFEE
LEAVE THE O  Off of AMERICAN-O

Coffee Shop Barista: "Sorry we're out of Coffee. I can make you an Americano." Me: "No Thanks, they don't taste the same." But I'm thinking, Hell No, They Taste Like Shit ! Me: "I'll wait to you brew a new pot." Do you know what I'm talking about? Do you know what an Americano in terms of Coffee is? Well, an Americano is a supposedly "Regular American Coffee" that instead of being made with coffee beans that have bean specifically made for brewing a good ol Cup of Joe, an "American Coffee" (Regular), they make a the coffee with coffee beans that have been specifically roasted to make Espresso coffee, but instead of using just a very small amount of water as in making an Espresso, they use 8-10 the amount of hot boiling water brewed with ground espresso and call it an "Americano," Guess What? "It Taste like Shit." It's friggin awful!!! An Espresso is an Espresso, Regular American Coffee is Regular American Coffee, "Don't be given me no Dam Americano!"    Hey, I'm Italian-American. I  have a perfectly made Italian Espresso every morning for the past 25 years at New York's best and most authentic Italian Caffe, "Caffe Dante" on Macdougal Street in Greenwich Village, a bastion of New York and America's finest Italian Food, Italian Restaurants, Caffe's, Pastry Shops, Pork Stores, Espresso and Cappuccino, but don't give me no "Dam American" when I want my beloved Regular Cup of Joe, "You Just Don't Do It" as John Travolta said in Pulp Fiction. And as Samuel L. Jackson said as Jules Winfeild. "A Sewar-Rat may taste like Pumpkin Pie, but I wouldn't no cause I wouldn't Eat The Dirty Mother F-er." Well that's how I feel about Americano Coffee. I love Espresso and I love regular American Coffee, "Just Don't ask me if I want a Friggin Americano!"

No More Pastrami for WOODY as The Carnegie Deli has CLOSED

The CARNEGIE DELI
NEW YORK -- After 79 years of serving up heaps of cured meat to tourists, theater patrons and workaday New Yorkers, the Carnegie Delicatessen will slice its last ridiculously oversized sandwich on Friday. Fans lined up all week for a last bite at the restaurant, which got a star turn in Woody Allen’s 1984 film “Broadway Danny Rose” and remained a stop until the end for out-of-towners looking for the classic New York deli experience. Marian Harper-Levine, President of the Carnegie Deli and a second-generation owner, called the decision to close its 7th Avenue location “incredibly difficult,”   screen-shot-2017-01-01-at-2-22-19-pm   “Along with my daughter Sarri and in honor of my late father Milton, I would like to sincerely thank all of our loyal patrons – tourists, dignitaries, and New Yorkers alike- who have visited Carnegie Deli over the past 80 years,” she said in a statement. “Since my father took over the Deli in 1976, this has been a second home to me and it has been a true privilege and an honor to serve you.” Craig DeGregorio, 38, of Long Island, said he waited for nearly 90 minutes to chow down on its signature dish, a mountainous, $20 pastrami sandwich. “I figured this was the last chance I was going to get to come here,” he said, adding that the visit was also his first. “I really didn’t mind waiting at all. The sandwich was huge. It took two bites to even make a dent.”  The lines in the cold Friday started at 4:45 a.m. Nick from the Bronx said he waited in line for two hours. “I came yesterday, the line was around the corner and I left very sad,” he said. “But I said, you know I’ll give it another shot and I came at 7. Everybody was reminiscent. It was wonderful.”   screen-shot-2017-01-01-at-2-30-02-pm
NO MORE PASTRAMI For WOODY
or ANYONE ELSE
Our Beloved DELI HAS CLOSED
screen-shot-2017-01-01-at-2-37-32-pm
Woody Allen as DANNY ROSE, The Carnegie Deli
The line was composed of people from all over. “I’m way down in the swamps of South Florida, heard of it, but didn’t know what it was, now I do, so I’m ready to go in,” Steve Osceola told CBS New York. “It is delicious, we will miss it so much,” one woman said. “The best in Manhattan,” a man agreed. When asked whether it’s worth the wait, he responded, “totally, I’d do it again, and again and again.” “It’s worth the wait. My feet are still cold, but this is hot, this is hot,” another woman said. The Carnegie, its walls now lined with photos of celebrities who have eaten there, opened in 1937, drawing its name from Carnegie Hall just a block up 7th Avenue. Aside from the long lines out on the sidewalk (and unusually high prices), the place screams old New York, from its vintage neon sign, to the items on the menu: slices of cheesecake, knishes, tongue and chopped liver, and a $30 reuben. Another patron dining in the final days, Donna Nevens, of Elizabeth, New Jersey, said she wanted to be able to tell her friends she ate at the “world famous Carnegie deli” at least once. “It’s a New York institution,” she said, anticipating she’d order a “Woody Allen,” an overstuffed sandwich of half pastrami and half corned beef. The deli later named the sandwich after the director after he filmed key scenes for “Broadway Danny Rose” there. The deli has also been featured on several television shows, including “Law & Order” and “Dr. Phil.” Although the Carnegie has remained popular with tourists, New Yorkers these days are more likely to go looking for authenticity elsewhere at lower prices. And it’s been a rough few years for the Carnegie. The restaurant reopened last February after being closed for nearly a year amid an investigation into a possible illegal natural gas hookup, discovered after a utility crew found a diverted line while they were investigating a leak. The personal lives of owner Marian Harper and her husband Sandy were thrust into the public spotlight with a messy divorce after she accused him of having an affair with a hostess and slipping her cash and pastrami recipes. The deli was also ordered to pay $2.6 million in back wages to its employees after a labor dispute. Harper has insisted the closure has nothing to do with any of those issues. She’s said her long hours at the deli have taken a toll and she wants to take time to enjoy her life. A spokeswoman for the deli said in September that Harper would focus on licensing the brand and selling products for wholesale distribution. The restaurant is scheduled to close at midnight after a last full day of business Friday. It will still have outposts in Las Vegas, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Madison Square Garden and at the U.S. Open tennis tournament in Queens.
