The Borderi Dairy was born in 1930 by Don Pasquale Borderi, he was involved in the production and trade of Sicilian extra virgin olive oils. Given the good performance of the business, Don Pasquale decided to expand and diversify his offer, including typical Sicilian cheeses in his price list.
It was in 1970 that Don Pasquale Borderi's son, Andrea Borderi, began to develop his marked sensitivity for the art of transforming milk into dairy products. In the following years, Andrea devoted himself to the intense study of the entire Italian dairy sector and specialized in typical Sicilian products. But his main love has always been the creation of his cheeses, and he began to offer his creations in the markets of Syracuse, Floridia and the entire province. Getting instant success.

In 1998, having become master cheese maker, Andrea Borderi together with his sons set up the family business: the Borderi Dairy, a refined artisan dairy located in Floridia, in the province of Syracuse.
